“Skull and Bones” remains top secret at Clark College

The names, events, and offices descrived in this story are purely fictional and intended for entertainment purposed only.
Ten years of searching archives and following club activities at Clark College has still not uncovered the mysterious, secret societies here.

Time for a real coffee shop

It is time for Clark to get a legitimate coffee shop on campus.  With the recent closing of the coffee cart in Hanna Hall (HHL), the door is open for a legitimate full-service café.

This coffee shop should be more than a stand and it should sell more than brewed coffee.  It should have the full range of espresso drinks coupled with the option of hot and cold brewed coffee.

PUB walls should be a showcase for student art

A college that is constantly boasting about its' student population and their accomplishments should provide outlets for students to showcase their gifts and abilities in a public forum. For artistic students, the walls of our buildings are a perfect fit.

Vancouver runs into a religious conundrum

Vancouver is in sort of a pickle with this new helmet ordinance. A helmet law is what the people of Vancouver want, and something that most cities have, but the way that the city is going about this is running us into questionable territory.

Council members need to rethink ordinance

Vancouver council members voted 5-1 to make it illegal to ride a bike, skateboard, scooter, unicycle, in-line skates, or roller skates without a helmet.  The vote was taken without much public input or awareness.  The ordinance went into law on Tuesday March 25th.  It affects these riders in any public place.

Does this building match the new drapes?

After a year of delays, a year of walking back and forth to the T-Building, and a year of trying to find the bookstore, the remodeled Gaiser Hall is open. Although, when I say open, I mean that the doors aren't locked. There still aren’t any services in the building. In fact, the only reason why anyone would be in the building is the bookstore, which has its newest entrance in the remodeled hall.

Cosmetic changes are a sign of a noble society

Clark College has made the right choice by beautifying the campus.  The remodel of Gaiser Hall will make Clark a more attractive campus as well as more functional.

Hello, I am your Dungeon Master.

Gary Gygax, the creater of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) died earlier this week. Gygax is considered by many people to be the crowning example of nerd.

I Think I Smell a Rat

The Independent recently reported that rodents had made a home out of Hannah and Foster Hall. At first, I was surprised that the college hadn't told me. After thinking about it, however, I decided that I was glad no one was making a big deal out of it.
